Stadler is looking to develop and implement cutting-edge electrical systems for passenger rail vehicles manufactured in the U.S.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years as an Electrical Engineer
- Experience in the Railway Industry is preferred
- Proven management experience in an engineering team or department is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers.
- Ensure projects meet technical requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FRA, APTA, IEEE).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure successful product development.
- Manage schedules, resources, and budgets for electrical engineering projects.
- Serve as technical lead and point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the electrical engineering function.
- Coordinate and plan resources for the Electrical Engineering sub-department for current and future US projects
