GHD is looking for an Electrical Power Intern to assist in research and designing of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or equivalent Bachelor's or Master’s degree program
Responsibilities
- Improvement/Innovation: Implement improvements and provide feedback on them. Use change management systems and protocols to provide routine support services.
- Solution Development: Carry out a range of solution development and engineering activities.
- Engineering Solutions Design: Implement engineering solutions, under supervision, to provide feedback and contribute to validation of the design.
- Engineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as informal training and coaching.

- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or equivalent Bachelor's or Master’s degree program
- No experience required
- Must be able to work in a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility
- Must be able to work in office, three days a week
- Must be authorized to work in the US
