International Paper is looking to improve the performance and reliability of EPD equipment through failure analysis and strategic maintenance initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of electrical engineering experience
- Power Distribution experience required
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with AutoCAD and all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with ETAP power system modeling software is preferred
- Strong technical foundation in electrical engineering
Responsibilities
- Work with operations and maintenance teams to implement strategic maintenance initiatives that support achievement of reliability objectives, key performance metrics, and maintenance cost objectives and capital projects execution.
- RCFA facilitation by leading a group to quickly and thoroughly identify and solve latent causes.
- Responsible for ensuring projects are compliant with NFPA 70E safety requirements.
- Responsible for all aspects of scheduled EPD PM activities including working closely with the Annual Outage Coordinator on detailed schedules for required area power outages.
- Responsible for all aspects of asset management for Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) equipment, including but not limited to: TG protective relays, exciter, and control system, Emergency Power Supplies (UPS Systems), Generator and System Grounding, Utility Tie, Load Shed Systems, Capacitor Banks, Switchgear Transformers, Power Cable Feeder Systems, Station and UPS Batteries, Grounding, Power System Studies, Relay coordination, Drawings, Ride Through Protection.
- Provides electrical and instrumentation (E&I) design support to the maintenance department and capital engineering department.
- Responsible for management of mill infrared and ultrasonic inspections and corrective action planning of power distribution equipment.
