Collins Aerospace is looking to solve complex problems in the aerospace and defense industry, specifically in the design, test, analysis, and customer support of aircraft wheels and brakes and braking systems.
Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Knowledge about designing electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.
Responsibilities
- Will assist in researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks as well as resolving day-to-day technical problems by troubleshooting electrical devices problems on the production line.
- Completes drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
- Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Must be a commutable distance to Troy, OH to work an onsite schedule.
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
