The Toro Company is looking to solve business and technical problems related to electrical systems engineering through their summer internship program.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Completed junior-level coursework
- Experience with engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD, DIAdem, or similar) is a plus
- Previous experience or internship is preferred
- Organized and proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Relevant coursework or experience in other engineering disciplines may be considered
- Experience with electrical components and software
Responsibilities
- writing specifications and performing studies
- testing and validation of electrical components and software
- continuous improvement of existing products
- component failure diagnostics and troubleshooting
- job shadowing
- vendor visit or trip to a Toro manufacturing plant
- making harnesses with an electrical designer
Other
- Motivated and collaborative individual who is eager to learn, contribute to team efforts, and communicate effectively
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrating good academic standing
- Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through the duration of the program
- 8 hours of paid time to volunteer in the community
