Tailor electronic and electrical systems for Cummins products, and ensure the quality and performance of calibrated subsystems and feature classes of electronic subsystems.

Responsibilities
- Apply and improve electronic application and systems development processes and tools.
- Configure (tune) and complete comprehensive validation testing of the fully integrated hardware and software systems.
- Work on the design and application of mechatronics systems including specifying electronic hardware and interconnections that measure and control systems.
- Apply Cummins’ installation requirements using identified best practices to ensure optimization of performance, reliability, cost and quality.
- Perform product function, modeling, simulation, and analysis to impact product design decisions.
- Configure and understand open/closed loop feedback controls features and the system interactions between hardware and software in Cummins’ products.
- Apply Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) and tools for simulation, calibration, and product life maintenance.
Other
- Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as an Electronic, Systems, or Product Engineer or related position.
