Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer to support their Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The role involves developing test hardware and software for analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications at board and system level, and analyzing test results to improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Candidate must have experience with testing of electronic assemblies including using In-circuit Functional Testers.
- Candidate will be required to use schematic capture tools to design test hardware.
- Candidate must have experience developing test code using NI LabVIEW, TestStand or Python.
- Technical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the electronic component level of simple to medium complexity electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, utilizing test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Candidate will be required to have the computer skills associated with these assembly tasks, including proficiency in using corporate production control processes, creating documents and spreadsheets for manufacturing information such as work instructions, parts lists, inventory reports, etc.
- Basic experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation will be required.
- Solid understanding of RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators, etc.
Responsibilities
- Candidate will work with multi-disciplinary team to develop test hardware and software from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing facilities.
- Candidate will work with design engineers, test engineers and manufacturing engineers to understand assembly and testing requirements.
- Candidate will work with suppliers to manufacture test hardware.
- Candidate will work to implement test software for testing production assemblies.
- Candidate will be responsible for identification and mitigation of test readiness issues through the development process.
- Candidate will be required to possess the ability to set up manual or automated test equipment to conduct functional, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production assemblies.
- Candidate will be required to analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.

- Candidate must have a BS degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience
- Candidate must be a U.S Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Current NI LabVIEW certification (CLAD/CLD).
