Nokia Bell Labs is looking to solve formidable challenges confronting our world through disruptive innovation and research, specifically in the area of novel architectures, system analysis, and design, simulation, and characterization of state-of-the-art RFIC packaging and EM passive components operating in the mm-Wave and near-THz spectrum for emerging applications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of RF, micro-, and mm-Wave technologies
- Hands-on experience with passive component design and testing
- Expertise in: Circuit design and simulation software (Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR, or equivalent)
- Expertise in: 3D EM component design and simulation software (ANSYS HFSS, 3DS CST, or Keysight RFPro)
- Expertise in: RF test equipment and component characterization
- Familiarity with: Schematic capture and PCB layout design (Altium, Cadence, or Allegro)
- Familiarity with: SI/PI simulation and analysis
Responsibilities
- Work directly with other Nokia Bell Labs researchers and Nokia business units to define novel architectures, perform system analysis, design, simulate, and characterize state-of-the-art RFIC packaging and EM passive components operating in the mm-Wave and near-THz spectrum.
- Help to provide innovative solutions to emerging applications in the mm-Wave and near-THz spectrum.
Other
- Currently a candidate for an MS or PhD in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a related field at an accredited school in the USA.
- The candidate must be able to contribute effectively and efficiently within a larger team, demonstrating strong communication skills and partnering with other groups in Nokia Bell Labs.
