Verizon is looking to hire a Senior Email Front-End Developer to deliver customer-facing marketing communications, solve complex problems, and optimize the authoring process to support better speed-to-market content changes.
Requirements
- Development experience using current HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with AEM 6.5 building blocks such as the following: templates, components, dispatcher and workflow.
- Experience building emails.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
- Experience working with a Digital Asset Management system.
- Proficient in G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc.)
- AEM Certification.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging wireframes, designs, and components to transform business requirements into email or mail communications development using HTML, CSS, and AEM components.
- Developing more complex custom HTML projects that require high-touch communication with stakeholders.
- Developing and consulting on multiple concurrent projects.
- Advising and working with marketing teams and other stakeholders to address capability gaps and recommend solutions.
- Thoroughly test all work to ensure adherence to functional and design requirements.
- Working with QA testing resources to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Collaborating with PMO and Team Operations to provide work estimates, establish timelines, and communicate statuses.
Other
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.
