H&R Block is looking for exceptional students in Design, UX Design, and Product Design spaces to contribute to their organization and gain real-life work experience through their 2025 Summer Internship Program, EMBARK.
Requirements
- Seeking to obtain a degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Computer/Human Interaction, Computer Science, or some similar discipline with a GPA of 3.0 or above
- Ability to work with new computer-based programs and databases
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design tools and software
- Understanding of user experience principles
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Basic understanding of front-end development principles
Responsibilities
- Research, gather and organize data to provide information for special projects or reports.
- Own the user experience from end to end.
- Product design specification.
- Design storyboards and prototypes of the user interaction model, workflow, information architecture, and user interface for new or modified features.
- Write and illustrate complete functional specifications for product features.
- Facilitation of user-centric design implementation.
- Work with the software development team, tax teams, and project managers to ensure implementation of the specific designs.
