Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking an Embedded Firmware Intern to gain hands-on experience in firmware development for microcontroller-based systems, contributing to real-world projects involving embedded systems, firmware debugging, hardware bring-up, and system validation.
Requirements
- Experience with RTOS concepts.
- Knowledge of wireless protocols (LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi).
- Coursework/projects in embedded systems, IoT, or PCB design.
Responsibilities
- Assist in firmware development for microcontrollers (C/C++).
- Support board bring-up and hardware/firmware integration testing.
- Debug and resolve firmware issues under supervision.
- Write and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation for embedded systems.
- Perform lab work, including using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to implement new features and verify designs.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
