The Boeing Company is seeking an Embedded Firmware/Software Engineer to design, integrate, and test Advanced Concepts for the DoD, focusing on areas like electro-optical control systems, pointing and tracking controls, and high-speed DSP systems. The role involves developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting firmware and software to meet system and subsystem requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C.
- Experience with product management and software development methodology
- Working knowledge and/or experience in software architecture and software development
- 5+ years of experience working with FPGA embedded systems
- Experience with FPGA processor or memory interconnects.
- Experience in embedded software development.
- Hardware integration and software Integration experience.
Responsibilities
- Support firmware and software research development projects.
- Work in a team environment to develop specifications of firmware and software architectures.
- Research required algorithms and implementation approach.
- Design and validate implementation of all firmware components.
- Integrate and synthesize firmware for the target platform.
- Develop and maintain software code. Integrate software into a fully functional software system.
- Troubleshoot basic firmware and software issues.

- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
