RTX's Crypto Software Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineering Co-Op to assist in the full software development life cycle on an agile development team, working in a collaborative environment with software and system engineers to develop and test embedded security software.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with C, C++, Python and/or Linux
- Some experience coding in an embedded environment
- Familiar with multi-threaded and object-oriented development
- Familiar with the basics of asymmetric and symmetric encryption
Responsibilities
- You will assist in parts of the full software development life cycle on an agile development team.
- The candidate will work in a collaborative environment with software and system engineers to develop and test embedded security software.
- You will develop your skills with software application tools, as well as C ++, Rust, and Python.
- You will impact the team positively by demonstrating your ability to perform product security testing, becoming a cybersecurity subject matter expert.
Other
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
