The Boeing Company is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support the PAC-3 Legacy Software, focusing on advanced development of the PAC3 missile defense system.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test experience with mission systems on tactical platforms
- 2+ years of professional experience with C, C++, C, Python, Java, or Ada
- Operating system knowledge of LINUX or Windows
- Experience with embedded systems architecture, design, and debugging
- Experience with missile defense sensor algorithms or algorithms for digital signal processing
- Experience with sensor systems for complex conversion of analog and waveform data
Responsibilities
- Develop and field flight software for PAC3 sensor systems
- Develop firmware and integrate with hardware/software
- Develop and test algorithms for enhanced software capabilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
- Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs
- Develop technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements
Other
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- No travel is expected
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
