Boeing is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support the PAC-3 Legacy Software, focusing on advanced development of the PAC3 missile defense system. This involves contributing to rapid prototyping and development programs using agile teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test experience with mission systems on tactical platforms
  • 2+ years of professional experience with C, C++, C-Sharp, Python, Java, or Ada
  • Operating system knowledge of LINUX or Windows
  • Experience with embedded systems architecture, design, and debugging
  • Experience with missile defense sensor algorithms or algorithms for digital signal processing
  • Experience with sensor systems for complex conversion of analog and waveform data

Responsibilities

  • Develop and field flight software for PAC3 sensor systems
  • Develop firmware and integrate with hardware/software
  • Develop and test algorithms for enhanced software capabilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
  • Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
  • Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs
  • Develop technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
