The Boeing Company is seeking Embedded Software Engineers to support the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC-3) team, focusing on embedded software development for the PAC-3 missile defense system.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with programming with C, C++, Python and/or shell scripts
- 2+ years of experience with embedded software development
- Experience with operating system knowledge of LINUX or Windows
- Experience with embedded systems architecture, design, and debugging
- Experience with missile defense sensor algorithms or algorithms for digital signal processing
- Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices
- Experience with instituting and maintaining DevSecOps practices and processes
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for PAC-3 sensor systems
- Develop and test algorithms for enhanced software capabilities
- Integrate software with hardware components
- Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
- Work complex problems on a variety of programs
- Develop technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements
Other
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance-Final Post-Start
- Less than 5% travel required
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
