The Embedded Software Talent Center is seeking a senior leader to support a portfolio of programs across Strategic Missile Defense (SMD), Commercial Civil Space (CCS), and Ignite lines of business, leading teams responsible for satellite, missile, microcontroller, and directed energy software development.
Requirements
- Experience leading teams or departments responsible for the development of complex software based elements or systems
- Experience with software planning and execution throughout the requirements, design, development, build, test, and integration phases of a program
- Embedded software experience
- Experience with missile and/or spacecraft software
Responsibilities
- lead teams across the country that are responsible for satellite, missile, microcontroller, and directed energy software development
- lead and support projects across the talent center including, but not limited to: training, Talent Center initiatives, Internal Operations Review (IOR) support, resource forecasting and management using Vemo, staffing, and driving Engineering actions to closure
- Experience with software planning and execution throughout the requirements, design, development, build, test, and integration phases of a program
- Embedded software experience
- Experience with missile and/or spacecraft software
Other
- Travel to other Lockheed Martin facilities will be required (< 15%)

- Effective communication with all levels of an organization
- Active DoD Secret clearance
