Emerson is looking to solve the problem of identifying undesired behavior and verifying expected behavior in embedded systems for their Liquid Analysis group products.
Requirements
- Experience with C
- Test automation
- Software test techniques and methodology
- Strong interest and/or related experience with embedded systems
Responsibilities
- Preparing and creating test plans and test cases for embedded software, based on requirements and functional documentation
- Executing test cases, performing regression testing, finding and documenting issues
- Performing test data analysis and preparing test reports
- Building test automation using C
- Providing process improvements and recommendations
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through post-release activities
- Work with cross-functional global teams including Software Development, Hardware Development, and System Architecture
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
- Good communication skills and the ability to participate as a member of a team
- Prior internship or co-op experience a plus
- Ability to stay aligned with goals and stay productive
