Bridge Appliances is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to develop and maintain testable embedded systems for their robotic devices, ensuring compliance and innovation in the commercial kitchen robotics industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in embedded systems development, including C/C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor architectures and embedded hardware.
- Proficiency in real-time/near real-time operating systems and device drivers.
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with developing circuit board schematics and component selection
- Experience implementing displays and highspeed communication
- experience with AC and DC systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testable embedded systems software for robotic devices in concept and in production.
- Develop and maintain Yocto builds for Linux Operating Systems
- Work on low-level programming for microcontrollers/microprocessors
- Design, implement, and optimize real-time operating systems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for embedded systems.
