The University of South Dakota seeks to create an innovative, effective campus-wide environment in support of career readiness and employment outcomes by managing employer outreach to create more internship, experiential, and employment opportunities for students while meeting employer needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with a CRM or CSM platform is highly desired.
  • Experience with strategic commuications is highly desired.
  • Marketing coursework and fundamental graphic design skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Symplicity superuser for employer management, job posting, student pathways, the First Destination Survey and reporting.
  • Develop and make available Symplicity CSM training resources in multiple mediums, assist users individually as needed.
  • Create, manage and deliver ongoing communications that effectively promote career events and services to students, and encourage employer engagement with Symplicity and USD’s suite of employer services.
  • Contribute to development of office promotional and public relations materials, including posters, social media content, contributions to industry-specific newsletters, and various office communication plans.
  • Manage the functions related to employer outreach with the objective of creating more internship, experiential and employment opportunities for students while meeting employer needs.
  • Plan and execute CCD employer-related fairs, events and programs and support campus partners’ recruitment efforts; develop new events/services that connect students to opportunities.
  • Effectively promote the Coyote Ready vision for students’ career readiness.

Other

  • 1 or more years of work experience required, 3 or more preferred.
  • A proven track record of relationship-building experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to reason logically, analyze and define operational problems and identify solutions.
  • Recruiting or corporate talent acquisition experience and higher education work experience are highly desired.
