Encapsys, LLC, now part of Milliken & Company, is looking to improve demand forecasting accuracy by leveraging Milliken's longer-term order visibility to anticipate Encapsys demand, which typically has a shorter lead time, within a collaborative demand planning project.
Requirements
- Familiarity with statistical modeling, time series analysis, or machine learning techniques is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical demand data from both Encapsys and Milliken to identify trends and correlations related to shared customer product lines.
- Develop predictive models and tools to improve demand forecasting accuracy using combined sales and forecast data.
- Build and maintain dashboards or reports to visualize demand patterns and forecast outcomes.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making in supply chain and planning functions

- Educational background includes individuals earning their B.S. with at least a 3.00 GPA in any of the following programs, rising Juniors and Seniors preferred: Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain
