Comcast is looking for an Engineer 3, Software Development & Engineering to design and develop new software and web applications, build operational and support tools, and monitor applications to ensure they meet specifications and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • developing software using Python, SQL, JavaScript, Angular, and Spring Boot
  • building operational and support tools using Django, Flask, and FastAPI
  • working with databases including SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2012 R2, MySQL 5.0, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and DynamoDB
  • monitoring applications using ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana), CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, and Tableau
  • building web applications using HTML, XML, XHTML, XSLT, CSS, SOAP, and AJAX
  • developing applications using cloud computing platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure IoT Hub and EventHub
  • performing version control using GitHub, CodeCommit, and GitLab

  • perform CI/CD using Jenkins and Bitbucket
