Comcast is looking to hire an Engineer 3, Software Development & Engineering to contribute to a team responsible for designing and maintaining the video streaming backend platform.
Requirements
- building containerized applications and services using Kubernetes
- using Istio service mesh to build microservices
- building infrastructure as code tooling using Terraform and Ansible
- performing application monitoring using Prometheus and AWS CloudWatch
- building distributed infrastructure platforms using Golang and Python
- implementing CI/CD technologies including Flux CD
- performing logging using Elasticsearch
Responsibilities
- Contribute to a team responsible for designing and maintaining the video streaming backend platform
- build containerized applications and services using Kubernetes

Other
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
