Akkodis is seeking an Engineer to build scalable backend systems and integrate cloud-native solutions for a client in Scottsdale, AZ.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years in Java development with strong backend engineering experience.
Expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement DevOps practices using GitHub Actions and ensure smooth CI/CD workflows.
Apply security protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT to safeguard web applications.
Collaborate on AI/ML integration and contribute to Python-based development for intelligent enterprise solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
