Avantor is looking to solve business challenges related to production planning and execution, quality inspection, and warehouse management processes in a chemical manufacturing context.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with SAP ECC and/or S4 on PP and QM module including hands on configuration of these systems.
- Knowledge on the PP-WM integration is also required, and SAP PP-DS is a plus.
- Experience with SAP PP and/or PP-PI, QM.
- ABAP knowledge and any other programming knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Understanding of the business processes for production planning and execution in a chemical manufacturing context from the raw material receipt to the finished goods delivery.
- Complete understanding of SAP Production Master Data and past experience in SAP data load activity.
- Knowledge of the SAP ABAP programming language and ability to debug custom programs is also required.
Responsibilities
- Be the solution expert for all systems supporting Production planning and execution (SAP ECC and S4), Bartender labeling solution and any other manufacturing/planning corporate systems and interfaces with other connected systems.
- Works directly with business users to understand business requirements.
- Design, configure, test and implement solutions and software applications that meet business requirements.
- Work directly with global development teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure solutions are delivered and implemented according to specifications.
- Provide production support for any system issues.
- Research latest technologies that could provide value and benefit to the business.
- Manage projects as requested including budget, timeline, and resources.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, industrial engineering or equivalent work experience
