Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Computer Engineer to collaborate with control and automation engineers to develop solutions for their production environment requirements, specifically within their fabrication shop.
Requirements
- Proficient in C++, .Net, Python, preferably utilizing Visual Studio
- Experience preferred with A.I. (Computer Vision), PyTorch, Django, Microsoft WPF
- Exposure to databases, preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL
- Solid understanding of college level mathematics (Trigonometry)
Responsibilities
- Work closely with control and automation engineers to take concepts and turn them into solutions for our production environment requirements
- Writing high performance C++ algorithms
- Interface with industry’s latest sensor technologies
- Build user interfaces, improving user experience
- Conceptualize new software and hardware solutions for our production needs
- Maintain and improve our existing software codebase
- Communicate professionally with our end-users
