EchoStar is looking to develop software using C or Java to deliver reliable software components and resolve software defects.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Proficiency in the following programming languages: C/C++
- Proficiency in the following programming languages: Java
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools such as Gi
Responsibilities
- Developing software using C or Java
- Triaging and resolving software defects that are reported from the field
- Working within a development team using change control and source code management systems
- Developing test plans and writing software unit tests to verify code correctness and test system-level interactions
- Working in a dynamic development environment to deliver reliable software components
Other
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- The ability to solve technical problems with little supervision
