Requirements
- Experience in software engineering
- Experience in mechanical design and analysis, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry
- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience with the Python programming language for automation
- Experience with modern application architecture, particularly serverless cloud architecture and experience with containerization
- Amazon Web Services Certification
Responsibilities
- Work with Structures, Aerodynamic and manufacturing engineers to automate compute intensive processes across the engine lifecycle (design, production, and aftermarket).
- Develop and maintain technical components, services, and integrations that extend the capabilities of engineering workflow applications
- Build foundational modules, reusable logic, and frameworks to drive application development in support of internal Engineering and operations customers.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
- Work with the development team and stakeholders to guide platform standards, architectural patterns
- Use high level programing languages (primarily, Python) to build scalable enterprise applications as well as architect and deploy solutions as scalable microservices on Amazon Web Services

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- 10% of Travel is expected
