Microchip Technology is looking to add a Software Engineer II (SQL Developer) to their current team as the group expands its responsibilities to new offshore locations. This role would be primarily involved in ERP/WIP system integrations, but would also require support for Test systems.
Requirements
- Transactional SQL
- Experience in PowerShell and vbscript needed to automate server activities
- Visual Basic 6.0 for test floor automation
- Visual Basic .NET/C web services and cryptology
- Perl/Python for data management
- Familiarity with server Operating System installations (Windows 2012 and newer)
- Active Directory (Basic)
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain existing SQL functions and procedures for Conformance process
- Bring back data test data for yield analysis and FAs. Improve transfer methods from suppliers
- Build servers to support testing of G4/G5/G5SOC/RTPF. Oversee installation of Servers in MTAI
- Support Cisco SPPS programming and the new methodology regarding HSMs. Develop and implement a plan to program using multiple tickets. Build additional servers as necessary
- Ongoing integration projects, specifically interfaces and Info applications. Using Vb.NET and C develop web services to communicate with ERP and new WIP system
