Toyota is looking to deploy ADAS sensors on TMNA responsible vehicles and needs an ADS Engineer to adapt the design of standard ADAS sensors and ECUs.
Requirements
- Experience in ADAS product ownership with program management experience in all stages of vehicle development
- Experience in ADAS sensor and ECU specification creation
- Proficient in simulated test environments such as HILS or SILS
- Proficient in CAN communication protocol and application of CANoe
- Experience coding related to function test execution and automation
- Hands-on experience with in-vehicle function testing to confirm software logic
- Prior experience in preparing RMBSS, RDDP packages, and wire harness specifications
Responsibilities
- Adapt the design of standard ADAS sensors and ECUs for deployment on TMNA responsible vehicles
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organization to understand the voice of the customer
- Benchmark competitors to identify system merits/demerits
- Conduct vehicle evaluations to understand the driving environment and naturalistic usage scenarios
- Evaluate functional and system performance through vehicle testing
- Plan and manage the schedule for responsible parts/systems
Other
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders for packaging sensors/ECUs, specification issuance, supplier sourcing, and field issue resolution
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and engage with multiple stakeholders
- Proficient in planning and scheduling
- Education: B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Education: M.S. or higher in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
