IQ Storage is looking for a proactive Engineering Intern to support automation, testing, and data integration efforts for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/Postgres) and data pipelines (APIs, MQTT, S3).
- Exposure to testing frameworks or automation tools is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) scripts for BESS system testing and integration.
- Create and maintain scripts to streamline quote generation and automate Bill of Materials (BOM) tracking.
- Work alongside engineers to validate EMS functionality during factory and site acceptance testing.
- Log and track issues, document test results, and contribute to improving automated test workflows.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for onboarding plant and site data to cloud environments.
- Support the integration of telemetry, inverter, and battery data into cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Prepare clear, structured technical documentation for scripts, data pipelines, and test procedures.
