Hyundai MOBIS IT team is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and efficiency to support business goals and objectives.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, components, and protocols for server, storage, and network equipment
- Strong experience with end-user computing environments, including Microsoft 365 and MECM
- Thorough understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, principles, and industry best practices
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities
Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure, including desktop, server, storage, backup, UPS, LAN/WAN, switches, and data center facilities
- Monitor availability, performance, and backup status of IT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly to minimize downtime
- Assist complex and/or urgent MES IT infrastructure tasks
- Maintain corporate security measures across all IT infrastructure in collaboration with the IT Security team
- Conduct procurement of IT infrastructure assets
- Perform regular disaster recovery and failover testing with relevant parties
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience in managing internal and external customer demands
- Bilingual speaker (English and Korean) is a plus.
