Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to develop target tracking, target discrimination, and battle management algorithms for various programs such as IBCS.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java and Python
- Ability to design and prototype algorithms
- Ability to perform data post-processing and performance analysis
- Experience in battle management and fire control research and algorithm development in support of DoD programs
- Able to apply complex mathematical models
- C2 experience
- Active secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- development, prototyping, analysis, and implementation of target tracking, target discrimination, and battle management algorithms
- implementing algorithms in a prototype environment
- performing comparative data analysis to assess algorithm performance
- review of the content and details of technical products
- designs, develops, integrates, documents, tests and debugs prototype software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to the identified problem space
