Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrent Systems division is seeking a Test Engineer / Principal Test Engineer to support test and checkout activities for the Sentinel program, formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), to invent the future and have fun along the way.
Requirements
- Familiarity with systems engineering integration and test principles and processes
- Experience with automated test equipment for cable testing
- Experience with DOORS, IBM JAZZ
- Experience with Command & Control Systems
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering Tools, including Cameo
- Familiarity with testing standards like Mil-Std-810, D0-160 or Mil-Std.-461/464
- Test Automation scripting experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Responsibilities
- Support the development of test requirements and detailed integration test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports
- Execution of qualification and acceptance testing per requirements, plans and procedures
- Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems/failures
- Participate in internal and customer test planning working groups
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment
- Write and deliver test presentations in support of program reviews and customer delivery (CDRL) development
- Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements
Other
- U.S. Citizen with an ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- 2-5 years of related experience depending on the level of the position
- Travel up to 10% of the time
