FlightSafety International is looking to solve the problem of setting up and maintaining the simulator server stack environment and supporting other software engineering groups with the code development environment.
Requirements
Windows Operating Systems (Windows Server, Windows 7, 10, & 11)
Linux Operating Systems (RedHat)
Visual Studio IDE
Source Management Systems (ADO or GIT)
C++/C-Sharp/C programming
PowerShell scripting
Network switch programming
Responsibilities
Administers and maintains servers with various operating systems across multiple platforms.
Sets up and maintains the file structure for each simulator project.
Controls the configuration management of the simulator software including the source control system and performing software builds, packaging, and installations
Supports implementation and installation of device drivers
Evaluates hardware and software to be installed on development and production computer systems under direction of senior engineer.
Perform cybersecurity hardening measures and applies risk mitigation
Support software developers in debugging of simulation software
Other
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other applicable technical field
Ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret DOD clearance within one year of hire, current active clearance is a plus
Comptia Sec+ certificate obtained within six months of hire
