Lockheed Martin is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join their Rotary and Mission Systems team in Liverpool, NY, to develop new skills and contribute to a highly successful team, solving problems and growing skills in computer systems, hardware, software, and networking.

Requirements

  • Familiar with Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Good working knowledge of Windows based systems and Microsoft products (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • High School course work or lab experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Design, electrical systems, 3D Modeling (Creo, Solidworks, AutoCad, Zuken, etc.)
  • Rapid Prototyping (3D Printing, etc.), robotics or other competition teams related to engineering projects
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level
  • Knowledge of RMS
  • Experience with Automated Testing

Responsibilities

  • assisting with engineering documentation, technical data maintenance and modification
  • training material maintenance, and mechanical, electrical maintenance to include grooming, upgrade, and modification of program products and test platforms
  • providing technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks to include: Systems engineering analysis, equipment installations, equipment integration and testing
  • post installation and sell off problem resolution, and defect prevention
  • supporting defect or incident reports, test procedures, and documenting results
  • executing written test/operational procedures, and executing automated test procedures
  • assisting with enterprise services to include: computer networking support/cyber security, IT system installation and maintenance, SW licensing coordination

Other

  • Must be recent high school graduate (within past 24 months) and able to work full time, 40 hour/week schedule
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent experience with less than 1 year of professional engineering
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills within hardware, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering
  • Ability to learn effectively, work well in a team, communicate, and have a good work ethic
  • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level
