Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic candidate to join their team in Manassas, VA. The role involves developing new skills while performing a variety of tasks to include analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking, specifically in DevOps assistance to stand-up and maintain integrated software environments used to develop, integrate, test, and deploy mission-critical military systems in a lab setting. The goal is to advance development environments that enable Anti-Submarine Warfare systems vital to our nation's defense.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of computer systems and products.
- High School course in Calculus
- High School course in Computer Science
- High School course work or lab experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: design, software, robotics or other competition teams related to engineering projects.
- Basic working knowledge of Linux
- Python or Java experience
- Testing experience
Responsibilities
- assisting with engineering documentation
- technical data maintenance and modification

- mechanical, electrical maintenance to include grooming, upgrade, and modification of program products and test platforms

Other
- Must be recent high school graduate (within past 24 months) and able to work full time, 40 hours/week schedule.
- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education and less than 1 Year of experience.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of new skills and tools.
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
- This position will require a government security clearance.
