Stanley Black & Decker is looking for Engineering Co-Ops to work on challenging real-world assignments in their engineering departments, contributing to product development, testing, quality, and advanced manufacturing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Computer, Software, or Electrical engineering, and have completed freshman year by the beginning of the program start date.
Responsibilities
- You will co-op in one of our engineering departments based on your skills, experiences, and coursework and will work on challenging real-world assignments.
- Multiple opportunities are available for mechanical, computer, software, and electrical engineers.
- Co-op’s will be placed in one of the following departments based on interests, skills, experience & coursework: Product Development (Electrical Systems, Software Systems, Mechanical Systems)
- Testing, Quality and Advanced Manufacturing

- Demonstrated leadership skills through student organizations, athletics, volunteerism or similar activities
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must be a US citizen, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
