Rosco Vision is seeking to improve the safety of the driving environment by developing and manufacturing vision safety solutions for the bus and truck vehicle marketplace, and this role will assist the engineering team with technical and administrative items to achieve this goal.
Requirements
- Experience with electrical prototyping, soldering, electronic product testing.
- Familiarity with CAD software – such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD electrical, Autodesk Vault
- Familiarity and experience with engineering lab equipment: Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Frequency Generators, etc.
- RF/Carrier Testing experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools – Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with ERP software such as Epicor, Oracle, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the electrical engineering team and assisting them with design and development, rollout into production, customer communication, and deploying field trials.
- Electrical, electronic, and software product testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Electrical prototype and test fixture builds.
- Technical writing, development of manuals, QuickStart guides, and installation instructions.
- Coordinating engineering change orders, documentation, and cut in to production
- Electronic product testing to ISO and SAE standards
- Training/mentoring tech support department
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar technical degree preferred.
- Minimum Requirement: Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field.
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- 3-5 years industry experience.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.
