Iron Senergy is looking for interns to assist their assigned department in fulfilling objectives while gaining hands-on experience and furthering their education. This role aims to expose interns to different jobs and procedures within the company, particularly in underground mining operations.
Requirements
- Underground interns will evaluate and solve operational problems and carry out engineering-related tasks associated with underground mine systems to include ventilation, hoisting, conveyance, electrical design, mechanical maintenance, and roof control.
- Prefer Underground Mining experience (internship/co-op)
- Knowledge of safety requirements in mining operations is essential.
Responsibilities

- All interns must be willing to accept underground mining assignments while employed with the Company.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in as related discipline (Mining Technology, Engineering: Mining, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or Industrial)
- Innovative, highly motivated self-starter
- Excellent verbal and computer skills
