ZF is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in lab operations and contribute to initiatives that enhance the quality and performance of ZF’s driveline products and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills required; candidate must be proficient in MS-Office Suite, with proficient understanding of MS Excel (macros and formulas).
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document detailed analysis of warranty issues and other product failures.
- Coordinate product and process engineering tasks or projects at the manufacturing plant level.
- Utilize QDM for engineering tasks as assigned.
- Locate and move product / containers as needed for drive unit extraction and replacement.
- Coordinate with logistics to maintain FIFO and transparency regarding container moves and SAP changes.
- Maintain inventory accuracy in road test, teardown, and non-production parts crib.
- Maintain inventory accuracy for parts in WIP or finish good inventory that is used for engineering purposes.
Other
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
- Must be self-motivated with ability to prioritize and accept direction from multiple sources.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in English language.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
