Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc. (GRSI) needs engineering data prepared for multiple upcoming projects, including new railroad bridges, updated structural and track standards, and support for public projects and invoicing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and develop drawings for new bridge projects.
- Update bridge and track standards by researching best practices and developing calculations to create consistent standards across the network.
- Support the structural engineering team on various miscellaneous projects.
Other
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a related major.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Provide regular progress updates to the supervisor.
