Requirements

  • Application of API codes and technical standards (API 510, 570, 571, 574, 580, and 581)
  • organizing and verifying technical data using applicable software (data examples may include piping materials, dimensions, pressure, and temperature captured through documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, engineering drawings and code forms)
  • Extract and verify technical data (metallurgy, temperatures, pressures, thicknesses, etc.) from documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), engineering construction drawings, and code forms
  • Participate in Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balance, P&IDs, and isometrics provided by the client for fixed equipment and piping systems
  • Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our services
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Reliability programs, including: Risk Based Inspection (RBI), Mechanical integrity programs, Inspection program development, Facility or equipment condition assessment, Application of API codes and technical standards (API 510, 570, 571, 574, 580, and 581)
  • Work independently to complete project deliverables and tasks such as organizing and verifying technical data using applicable software (data examples may include piping materials, dimensions, pressure, and temperature captured through documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, engineering drawings and code forms)
  • Extract and verify technical data (metallurgy, temperatures, pressures, thicknesses, etc.) from documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), engineering construction drawings, and code forms
  • Generate risk profiles for entire operating facilities
  • Participate in Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balance, P&IDs, and isometrics provided by the client for fixed equipment and piping systems
  • Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our services
  • Deliver a final presentation to share all you have learned and accomplished during your time at Pinnacle

Other

  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Achieve, maintain, and accurately report performance metrics
  • Recognize inefficiencies and facilitate innovation that results in significant improvements
  • Completed a minimum of three years at an accredited university in any Engineering program
  • Willingness to relocate to Pasadena, TX for the duration of the internship - relocation assistance stipend provided
