Daikin Applied is looking for an Engineering Intern to contribute to their HVAC Development by owning a meaningful, real-life project within the Engineering Applied Development Center, aiming to create a positive impact on their HVAC solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with Solidworks, MATLAB, EES, or related CAD software
- Exposure to using Excel formulas or programming
Responsibilities
- Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application
- Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems under the direction of the assigned engineer
- Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer
Other
- Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office
