AEP is seeking a Student Intern Engineer to gain experience in the utility industry and contribute to meaningful projects that have a positive impact on the communities they serve.
Requirements
- Perform calculations and detailed engineering studies using scientific calculations and the computer system.
- Develop, test, modify and document computer programs.
- Conduct computer simulation studies.
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain and index engineering records and files.
- Diagnose performance and failure of operational equipment.
- Perform calculations and detailed engineering studies using scientific calculations and the computer system.
- Develop, test, modify and document computer programs.
- Conduct computer simulation studies.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Prepare memoranda, reports and make presentations.
Other
- Completion of freshman year in a four (4) year Engineering Program recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
