Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI) is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain exposure to real-world engineering challenges across design, analysis, testing, and project execution. The intern will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects, contribute innovative ideas, and gain practical skills in a professional environment.
Requirements
- Common knowledge of electronic and computer skills.
- Detailed knowledge of MS Office products, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with Autocad and/or Autodesk Inventor preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with the organization and archiving of equipment quality data files.
- Audit and assessment of legacy quality data files, and reassembly to meet updated standards
- Assistance with minor 3D modelling and drafting projects
- Audit of physical equipment to archived drawings and documentation.
- Other assistance as opportunities arise that rely on technical knowledge gained from the engineering curriculum
- Understands and/or actively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes, such as 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Attend all OE training as it is deployed by the OE team.
