Applied Signal Technology (AST) is seeking engineers to strengthen our nation and improve the security of our world by resolving problems and making the world a safer place through strategic and tactical SIGINT solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment
- Experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Linux script, bash
- Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
- Software development experience (i.e. internship, co-op, or other work or academic project experience)
- Experience working both in a team environment and individually
- Experience with Qt
- Experience with User Interface development
Responsibilities
- Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams
- Once cleared, work on actual field deployments of the product under development, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.
- Perform code review and support in testing to achieve long-range goals and objectives
- Contribute to the build, test, and delivery of a set of software applications to be deployed to advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government
- Work on the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support
- Provide solutions which are highly innovative
- Participate on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams
Other
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
- Must be available for onsite work in Salt Lake City, UT
- Must be available for full-time work
