Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) is seeking to fill a Manager 1 position for the Integration, Test and Launch(IT&L) Department to manage personnel, training, processes, functional initiatives, and multiple programs, ensuring sustainable top performance and effective operations.
Requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional organizations
- Demonstrated expertise in Functional & Program Management
- Experience leading a Multifunctional team
- Knowledge of tracking budgets and providing cost estimates.
- Practical experience with Lean manufacturing techniques
- Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing and Testing environment
Responsibilities
- Managing of day-to-day I&T activities across the factory
- Reviewing IT&L performance during spacecraft integration and test and driving for continuous improvement
- Support development, implementation, guidance & review of Program CAM Roles & Responsibilities to I&T Program Managers; Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Ensuring adequate procedures, equipment, and facilities exist to deliver consistent spacecraft products
- Provides staffing and workload forecasting for the department
- Supports program tiger teams, RCCA investigations, deep dives, and pre-milestone reviews. Serve on boards and participate in program MRR, PDR, CDR, TRR reviews as required.
- Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects, which includes but is not limited to process improvements, event response teams, corrective and preventive action implementation and safety initiatives.
