EPS is looking to develop and deliver smarter, safer, more reliable, and lighter battery systems for next-generation aerospace and transportation platforms.
Requirements
- Strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Experience in the design and development of aerospace mechanical systems
- Proven track record of leading technical teams to successful project outcomes
- Experience with high-voltage electric propulsion or energy storage systems (preferred)
- Solid understanding of aerospace certification and quality processes (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional group responsible for designing and delivering integrated battery enclosures-including venting, mounting, racking, and cooling systems
- Set direction, plan roadmaps, and ensure the successful delivery of technically robust solutions
- Oversee technical execution
- Develop and implement designs and processes that meet rigorous aerospace standards and regulatory requirements
- Align technical work with strategic business priorities
- Develop compelling budget rationales
- Coach engineers to grow in both capability and confidence
Other
- Seven years of engineering experience including leadership responsibilities
- Master's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively-both within your team and across departments
- Program execution, budgeting, people management, and design leadership competencies
