Requirements
- Solid understanding of at least a portion of our stack: Elixir, React, React Native, and AWS.
- Expertise in developing applications, QA automation, instrumentation, and tooling to drive success and continuous improvements for your teams.
- Experience with Agile (Kanban) and driving improvements in velocity, quality, and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, responsible for their output, technical decisions, career development, and priorities.
- Be a thoughtful technical voice and support your team in making diligent architectural decisions.
- Work closely with other engineering leaders, scrum masters, and product management to deliver against the roadmap.
- Responsible for the on-time, high quality features developed by the team, using scope and creative problem-solving to find the best paths to on-time delivery.
- Continuously measure and improve against the team’s and company’s OKRs, ensuring the team doesn’t simply deliver, but grows.
Other
- 2-3 years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- Lead, inspire, collaborate, make tough decisions, and get things done within SaaS software companies.
- Ability to do both long term thinking and short term planning.
- Strong project leader driving quality work all while finding creative solutions to problems.
- Execution focused with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
